Agree 100%. This is how a video, and how makeup SHOULD be done imo. She's amazing. This is the closest to how we did our makeup as punks in the 90s. I just never got into makeup. I was around before the "Club Kids" (if you don't know them from the 90s, look them up) who I feel played a massive part (probably the biggest part) in making intense costume type makeup, an everyday thing. Before that we would have lots of black on our eyes and that was it really. In my day that is (late 80's and early 90's).

Thank you for not using a filter or blurring bright lights. I hate following a makeup tutorial and I can't tell wth is supposed to look like because they have a filter on and/or their lighting is so bright everything is blurred- it's great for recording or pictures, but showing HOW to apply the makeup and what it looks like without all that enhancement is what I want.

I ised to be the same way, but I Miracurously improved and went with skin care and washing my face regularly. I will say that there is a thing called the 'purge' with acne skin care, meaning it gets so much worse before it gets better. If u stay determined, you could find something that works for u! :0

I was made to look like I was beat up, then an ice fairy. pranking relatives with the photo of the beat up makeup was hilarious. yes, it looked that real. the ice fairy was a fun one to sit for. my face was basically turned into a learning experience

It blows my mind how amazing makeup can be and the skill of the people who know how to use it to the best of their creative ability. I myself have never been someone who has ever done more than eyeliner, mascara (sometimes), foundation (when I was a teenage punk girl in the 80s and 90s) and that was usually it with my piercings and colored hair and I has a Mohawk for almost the entire time sothose two things were the main attraction (so to speak). I have never had lips that could get away with anything on them, theyre super thin and have zero pout. I have always been so jealous of lips like this. But I have never felt bad about my looks, so that's what has mattered the most. I'm going to be 50 this May. FIFTY! I didn't think I'd make it to 25 (and shouldn't have at tune of the life I led)! But it happens, so beware! Thus is a stunning show of not needing to sink hundreds of dollars for just one concealer or on any one makeup item. I was shocked when she started to put the eye color on with her fingers. That's a boss bitch for you doing it the right way!

i love this makeup style!!! if you haven't used it before, i highly recommend the nyx epic ink liner, its a brush pen that gives the same effect u get from using a dip brush but its much easier to control the product!! i used to use a dip liner like the one in this video but i always hated how mine seemed to dry thick, the nyx pen dries down super smooth and its really easy to get a nice sharp wing! other than the occasional pen bleed i really love using the brush pen :)

I had dry skin and severe cystic acne at the same time too , and I was on Lymecycline which wouldn’t help the odd breakout (I do recommend it if you’re okay with the odd cystic spot but generally during that time of the month- when I’d get one I’d then burn the crap out of it with Duac- LET YOUR SKIN DRY FOR HALF AN HOUR BEFORE APPLYING DUAC OTHERWISE IT WILL BURN). Then I moved onto tretinoin and I haven’t looked back. Just some advice to anyone out there struggling with their skin, I felt terrible about myself during the time I had severe acne and was at a total loss. Do only get lymecycyline on prescription and under a doctor’s guidance, same with duac) And only apply duac to your actual spots and not anywhere else because you will really dry your skin out so badly. Hope this helps anyone struggling. This tutorial is awesome, how you did your eyeliner like that is amazing.

Idk but is it just me noticing the ppl that looks best with these types of makeup usually have the most bare, basic, and like naked face??? Like little to no brows, eyelash, nude skin tone, basically like a face made to be a blank canvas. I get what you mean, especially your point about the strong features, but everyone has a naked face to begin with 😅 I think she has strong features, but they are very rounded/youthful (baby like?) so maybe that's what you mean. This type of makeup compliments this aspect of her, it's a matter of finding what suits you 😊

I think it's also because her makeup is so heavy, her face without makeup seems more different and obviously less contrasted than other people do, because they do lighter makeup

I think you mean that her facial features aren't very heavy (learned about that term by dearpeachie). I agree with you, if you have lighter facial features, it is easier to change the overall look of the proportions etc. With stronger facial features ( I have those too ) is it harder to change things and my face always kinda looks the same, even with different Makeup styles.
