My sister bought me facial serum from the dollar tree last Christmas and its actually worked really well for me. Skin serums are always a hit or miss no matter where you go because what works for you might not work for someone else, so if you're curious about the facial sets they carry I say go for it but always Always ALWAYS do a patch test first!!!

My mom is a nurse. Basically all the dollar tree medicine is identical to the next store brand - just look for the generic name of the one you like and get it there (guafenicine is the generic of mucinex, fenifexodine is the generic of allegra, etc.) As long as it's the same concentration and same number of pills, you're saving money. Creams and lotions I wouldn't trust, but the straight up medicines haven't done me wrong

My boyfriend is a dollar tree freight manager and with the way they work, they don't actually order any of the items they are sent, and the brand name versions are often prototype or limited color releases that were test color batches (like when you find elf or Revlon), or some of the protein drinks. I work for dollar general and we keep some of these items in stock no matter what, but for a little more. So main story here is if you find something that works for you that you like at dollar tree, buy like 10 of them, because you don't always know if they'll carry them again or always.

Rest assured that if a cosmetic product has a long ingredient list with various chemical or INCI names, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing or indicates that it’s harmful. It all depends on the formula. Haven’t used this facial cleanser you featured, but just a quick glance at the INCI list shows extremely common surfactants, emollients, humectants, antioxidants, preservatives to prevent harmful bacterial or fungal growth in the product, and colors and fragrance that are most likely used in a conservative and safe percentage for a rinse off product.

I just wanna put a disclaimer and tell people DO NOT, I repeat, DO.NOT. Use Q-tips to clean your ears. I did this daily thinking I was being a responsible hygienic human, then I realized my hearing was getting really bad (I’m 25). Went to an ENT, turns out I was pushing the wax deeper and had to pay $116 to have my earwax removed by a doctor. While this felt AMAZING for $116 I’d rather not.

The feminine wash is actually bomb I highly recommend it I had a urine infection due to not drinking enough water and I would feel so uncomfortable down there especially when I would feel pain and a burning sensation and when I used the wash it actually calmed down that uncomfortable sensation also a good thing about it is that it has no fragrance and it isn't so bubbly it's good for sensitive skin and is gentle

yeah no, that had no impact on your urinary tract infection. if you got that anywhere near your urinary tract, it would’ve immediately WORSENED the uti. your uti got better on its own, thankfully it didn’t get worse because of the toxic perfumes society convinced us we need to put inside our own internal organs.

The xtracare feminine wash has never given me any trouble, BUT that doesn't mean it won't give someone else problems, so just keep that in mind if you want to try it. It's not heavily scented, and if anything I (personally) feel like that particular area of my health is better when I use it. Again, this is my personal experience, just for consideration before buying or not buying.

Hi! Broke Gen Z and frequent Dollar General/Tree/Store shopper here. Imma level with you, I've never spent more more than $7 on a beauty product in my life, and that's if I was splurging. Some additional beauty product suggestions. Vitamin E oil, it's a super awesome moisturizer and makeup remover that you can use everywhere. Even on intimate areas and around your eyes. One bottle lasts forever but I recommend transferring it to a different container as the one it comes in leaks easily. Aloe Vera Gel, it's marketed as sunburn relief but works as moisturizing toner, you can use around your eyes just don't get it in them and be careful with broken skin as it burns a bit. Vaseline lotion, I get super dry skin in winter. It cracks, bleeds, and most lotions don't help and even sting due to the fragrance in them getting into the broken skin. This 💩 is phenomenal. It moisturizes, repairs and prevents cracked skin, and despite having a strong scent it doesn't sting on the wounds. Saved my skin several winters in a row. Cocoa Body Butter, I don't remember the brand as I lost mine a bit ago, but I remember it smelled like straight brownie batter and made my skin feel like velvet. I gave my momma some and she loved it, and her skin is more sensitive than mine. Body Fantasies perfume, a 3.5oz bottle is about $5 if I remember correctly. A spritz or two in your hair or under your clothes lasts most of the day. I love their vanilla, people who've noticed it say it "smells expensive". Kissable Oatmeal body lotion is another one I love that's great for chapped skin. I've always known DG to have a great selection of eyeshadow palettes for $5>, as well as lipsticks and nail polish for $2>. Plus their rollback and clearance often has some decent makeup there for cheap.
