Peafowl came to our door all the time, the first time we lived in Hawaii. We fed them. They would scratch on our roof, peck our door, and call. I grew up loving peafowl, and always watch them with amazement.

My neighbor got a peacock recently, and it’s daily schedule involves running across the road into our yard (and to the forest) scream it’s head off for hours, then wander back into my yard just in time for our neighbors to realize it’s gone and chase it across our yard back to it’s home. I think my neighbors are insane. At least he’s (she?) is a fun bird to chat with xD

My grandparents had a bunch of these, and they ended up as pests. The calling is super loud and happens all day long. They roost in trees or jump up on cars and poop on everything, and there's a lot of poop since they're basically goose-sized. They're not friendly, and can be aggressive. They're pretty, and it's far better to enjoy other people's peacocks rather than your own.

@Tdotttttt8 ай бұрын
@@mags6488 No you can't! People will slowly creep up in talking shit about them, and before you know everyone will name them vermins, it's clearly documented way of annihilating a species, in some cases humans too lol You can see that with pigeons too, how they served humanity for centuries and suddenly everyone hates them, its how you change the image and repuation of a species, it starts slow, ughh they are so loud, they are pretty but man they are LOUD!! then someone will say, damnn these SUCKS ARE LOUD!, then it will go, I cant stand these motherfukers I wish they drop dead, then slowly and steadily they will become the most hated things, easing into it, from being a legedary bird with incredible treat from nature to look at to, these monsters that shit all over to calling non stop like babies getting murdered. Boom! peacocks are extint! You know we are known to do that. Need to stop it at the source. Long story short! LOVE THOSE BEAUTIFUL INNOCENT PEACOCKS AND PEAHENS!!

i’m so glad i found this video! i’m 14 and i live in a big forest and around late april and then throughout the summer my family and i always hear this sound and i would get so curious to what it was because we hadn’t ever heard the sound until about a year ago! it has been a mystery since and i would always spook my sister out and say it’s a dinosaur or something that lives in our forest ahahah! but now i can tell them it’s just a peacock! i wonder where it lives 😅
@netabolt6546 Жыл бұрын
actually yes, it IS a dinosaur. to be not get confused, an Avian Dinosaur. the Non Avian Dinosaurs are excting but a subgroup from the maniraptorian (theropod dinosaurs with like velociraptor, oviraptor, dromeosaurus etc) got evolved into what we now call birds, so yeah, Its a Dinosaur living in the forrest. i heard one too in the small woods not far from home and wanted to be sure and yes, it is a Peacock i'm also hearing. its creepy at first lol.
