Hi David, I own the field pouch and I have to say Peak needs to hire you. What a great explanation on how to use the field pouch. I also like Peak's everyday messenger which I do not own because it is too big for my needs. Great review and tutorial.

I really enjoyed this video! The editing was quite seamless, do more like this! 😊

I would love for them to make a bigger field pouch that fits nicely into the everyday backpack 20L and 30L with the 30L slot still having a little room on the sides for maybe a flash or lens or similar size but not that much. You can even lock the bag into place with the provided dividers that slide up etc. Please peak design.

Sounds like you need a PD Teach Pouch!

What I found out was that you have to push it up after you push it down. So the velcro hooks hook properly.

I own this bag and would like it more if the bottom opened up flat. It would then make a great bag for a small mirrorless system. As it is, it's only an accessories bag, imo.

Hi! Have you used the Peak Design Everyday Tote? I loved your honest review of the messenger and would love to know what you think about the tote, too!

I wish they would have used those magnetic latches they have on their other bags.

Awesome! Let me know how you feel about the velcro strength - I'm curious if they've improved it. :)

Hi, thanks a lot for the video. It told me a lot. I'm not a photographer but generally I would like to have something like this for stuff I need every day. Please can you answer me this? 1, Is it able to carry an iPad? iPad mini? 2, Does the usual diary fit inside? Lets talk about Moleskine "A5" dimensions. Thanks a lot
@DavidVogt8 жыл бұрын
Tomas Jambor Hi Thomas, an iPad mini would fit, a normal iPad wouldn't. An A5 Notebook would also fit nicely.

Go to the Peak Design website and learn how to lock the uni-directional velcro. It is the way it is for a well thought out reason.
@irishjohnnyb7 жыл бұрын
The velcro is definitely a problem as it simply does not hold.

Thanks for your video , what do you think of using it to carry a few lee filters , or the tech pouch is better for it .? Appreciate your professional view .

The field bag is very loud when opened. Is there a silent mode?
@DavidVogt5 жыл бұрын
I believe if you pull the Velcro downwards instead of up, it’s much quieter. So technically yes.

Have you tried attaching the Capture to the Slide's strap? Not sure I'd want the camera hanging round my back, but attached to the front would be alright.
@DavidVogt8 жыл бұрын
I haven't, but I imagine it wouldn't work too well because the Field Pouch is so light that the weight of the camera would pull on the strap and make everything slip.

will it fit a 1911 ? i could attach it to a backpack waistband for ccw

Can the bag fit a small mini apple ipad?or a big headphone like a.t.h.m50x ?sunglasses keys & wallet hand lotion?small water bottle or soda can?hold small items?when i use it outside?
@DavidVogt8 жыл бұрын
An iPad Mini would fit, sunglasses, keys, wallet as well. It's ideal for smaller items, but not sure about a water battle. A can would fit, but not along with an iPad mini.

Will this bag accommodate things like cables, chargers and batteries and such? Was thinking about getting one to put in my bag to hold my smaller items better instead of, just throwing them in the bag that I have.
@DavidVogt8 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's exactly what it's designed for. :)

Hey David, Sir. May I know field pouch can fit a Mavic pro ?
@kadajawi65676 жыл бұрын
Hey David, do I need to use a PD strap or can I use any camera strap from a mirrorless camera? I'm thinking of getting one for accessories and to occasionally house my mirrorless camera plus a lens or two. Thanks.

Hi the slide that you using is slide or slide lite? Is it comfortable? Which one will fits better?
@DavidVogt8 жыл бұрын
This is the Slide - it's comfortable and just kind of melts away when I'm working. That's the way it should be, in my opinion. It is quite wide and since I use it with mirrorless cameras (A7r II) I would probably go with the Slide Lite now. I got the Slide before the Lite came out, though.

Hi David, thanks for the review. I can't find any photos or reviews where someone puts a camera inside the pouch. Do you think the pouch is too small to put, say, a Fuji X-Pro camera in it? (with a small lens) Thanks!
@DavidVogt8 жыл бұрын
+Steffen Kjær Larsen Hi Steffen, you could fit a Fuji X-Pro into the bag, but it wouldn't be a comfortable fit. It would kind of mis-shape the bag since it's not very rigid. But yes it would fit, and would work for every now and then. I wouldn't recommended it as a permanent solution, though.
@darkaqua6 жыл бұрын
Can you put the entire camera with the lens in the bag?
@DavidVogt6 жыл бұрын
Depends on the camera. Something like an A6000 with a pancake lens would probably fit. Probably not much larger than that.

Do you think it can fit an ipad air 2?
@DavidVogt7 жыл бұрын
Hey Jeffry, it won't fit an iPad Air 2. An iPad mini would fit snugly, to give you an idea of size.
