4:14 i think it's not the first time he went back to the past since he knew straight away he could use cheng xiaoshi's ability and the redhead told him " it's punishment for changing the past " which means he already changed things but cheng xiaoshi still died, maybe redhead is a time police that is fixing what lu guang keeps changing that's why he killed everyone but lu guang since he's the only one that lives in the original time line. Poor lu guang is going back over and over to save everyone T T I'm scared he's gonna have a sad ending.

I like to think that that was the first timeline, and Vein was killing everyone because CXS and LG were already working together and travelling back in time. My theory is that in the first timeline, they were trying to fix things in the past, and that's why Vein attacked them, so Lu Guang comes up with the rule of not changing anything in the past after that. What you said does also make sense, probably, but it really seemed like Vein was trying to kill Lu Guang as well, so I don't believe that that's what's happening. It's so fun to theorize together!! >u

How many timelines were we dealing with? How many times has Cheng Xiaoshi died? If you get stuck in the new timeline after the 12 hours how many times (how many years) has Lu Guang been living in these timelines? So many questions. In this episode we are told they are first years un Univerity, but in S1 they have graduated University. Cheng Xiaoshi tell Lu Guang to save THEM, Who is them? We are shown Qiao Ling bleeding outas well as a brown coat and a police badge on the ground, who we can guess is Li Xiao, the cop from S1 & S2. So, CX passes his power to LG to save them. 15:49 the journal that Lu Guang is referring to seems to have past events listed to the exact time of the events and the journal is written in Latin. There are a couple of red covered books we see - in the ed Cheng Xiaoshi is holding a red covered booked with "Shakespeare's Sonnets," Lu Guang's Journal has a red cover and in this end credit scene we see Liu Xiao (hat man) with a red covered book. If you rewatch the OP from season 2, there is also a red book in the "claw machine" with the pink bear toy. What is with all the red books. In this episode there is an emphasis not just on Lu Guang's watch but clocks as well. In the opening some of the clocks even appear on different walls in the photo shop - on the wall beside the dark room door and then above the door. Is the fact that clock keeps moving an issue with continuity and the animation or is it indicating separate timelines? My quick theory is that Liu Xiao and the Gunman are part of an organization that knows that the powers. Maybe they sent Lu Guang to steal or get Cheng Xiaoshi's power but he wound up befriending CX instead, saving him and altering the timeline. The Gunman came to punish LG for changing the timeline. And yes I believe CX's parents had some sort of power(s). Maybe they left to protect CX or the Organization kidnapped them or murder them and that us why they disappear.

Im pretty sure there are 3 shown past timelines, if you look at that beginning fight scene, some scenes dont line up because of blood patterns, and some stuff broken. I do think the woods death is another timeline. One MV (I THINK its the overthink+vortex one) one shot shows multiple CXS's dead in multiple manors lit with spotlights (there are spotlights during the passing of power btw, not sure if its related). Someone correct me but there was around 7 spotlights in the MV,,, BUT I am not believing that he died that many times until the series out and says it 😊, because thats way too cruel of a fate to give to Lu 😭😭

My theory about the envelope is probably trap made by them to hunt Cheng xiaoshi parent. but it ended been found by Cheng xiaoshi itself. Honestly if Cheng Xiaoshi never found that envelop, they probably never had to going through all that.

she's probably survived, cuz at the end of season 2 when qiao ling saw lu guang's memory she didnt see her death but only cheng. but idk xD

39:30 "If the photo was taken over twelve hours ago" the time between the photo taken to the kidnap wasn't supposed to be 12 hours right? How can Lu Guang predict the scene? Is it because he is from the future so whatever he sees now is considered taken over twelve hours ago?

I think it's mistranslation, because I was thinking the exact same thing - there's no way it's taken 12 hours ago, and if it was, there would be no point for him to "see" it. A good translation is so vital for a mystery series like Link Click, it's honestly killing me how bad it is 😭 Could be also that Lu Guang intentionally lied.
