Do you think you guys will venture into replacing the blockiness and rounding the corners of blocks in Minecraft eventually? At least with mainly organic blocks (so you can still build cube-like structures with proper materials). I think that’s one of the last steps to making Minecraft truly look like real life. At that point it would pretty much look like a real life sandbox. (Obviously all this would be done once you’re finished with texturing and programming and shaders, but it would still be very neat to see!) :D

There's a mod called NoCubes that does the same thing as what you described. Hodilton's done a few showcases with it. I bet using it with this resource pack would make the game unplayable though lol. Maybe on the lower resolutions it could run on high end PCs. Edit: I just checked and it seems like the creator (ultimate immersion) used the no cubes mod with this in a video a few days ago. Just look up his name and you'll be able to find it.

Ik this is late, but as a server manager/admin of Ultimate Immersion and a server member of Hodilton, neither Hodilton nor Ultimate Immersion plan to delve into that side of minecraft modding. Ultimate Immersion focuses on architecture and modern realism, while Hodilton just showcases other peoples work.

I remember hearing about minecraft when the first version just came out and how popular it was... i was like... how in the hell can this awful looking thing be that popular? Then today it looks like this... when almost nobody is playing it lol. Imagine if Microsoft did their job and released some kind of minecraft 2 with these kinds of graphics? FFS they paid like 3 billion for minecraft and never did much of anything with it since then. Crazy waste of money and potential.
