She is gorgeous! I think a black tulle bustle petticoat (just the back half) for under the top layer would really elevate this dress. Not only would it fill it out with volume but I think it would give it a more ephemeral effect and hide the light underside of the dress as well. I'd love to see your beehive hair restyle for her!

She is by far my favorite. She is my S1 favorite overall so I had a feeling i'd love her. A bracelet or arm cuff and antenna would have been perfection. If I can only get one she is it.

Fun fact i found out on tiktok. Purple and red eyes do exist. In severe cases of albanism, usually you would have blue eyes but sometimes they have less pigment then that so blood vessels shine through and you can get purple and in some cases red eyes naturally.

Well… yes. I would not mind on a doll with albinism but Poppy does not have albinism and the eyes are blue with purple in them for design. I just think it was lazy that so many dolls had those exact eyes to begin with.

I think you should use an interfacing and line the outer skirt in black. That way it would prevent further damage by gluing the satin from the back side. And it would stiffen it to show off the train. I'm surprised it isn't convertible to a cape! Like the Barbie Extra Fancy with the vinyl floral overskirt/cape.

I think I’m the most curious to see Ruby unboxed I’m hoping the bottom of her 1st look is separates 🤞. I don’t think I’ve seen Skyler yet either. Violet & Amaya I think are my least favs and Sunny. Jade felt the most tempting to me then Poppy I think was 2nd place. Skyler though I think was the only 1 where I liked both outfits 🤔. I was relieved these didn’t wow me. Cause my money has been going to g3 MH & disney ily 4ever & I’m excited for more cry babies bffs. ❤️❤️❤️

I just got her last night. I did film the unboxing but I was listening to you in the background and so I have to edit the video. I think mine was a return. My box was messed up. But I got mine for $20. She appeared to be missing earrings and also her face glimmer looked a little offf.

Her makeup is so soft and pretty. I feel like the Sunny dress may have cost so much that they resorted to an already done makeup look and recolors of old clothing. I wonder if the team decided to do rhinestones on the back for two reasons. One is a dig at Mattel for not using their printed fabric all the way around and the second is they know that people customize the clothing and that is a large amount of fabric to play with. I really like her after seeing your review. I know I want Jade for sure but I am not committed to anyone else yet.....but this poppy is so pretty......and that second outfit would work on Michelle......I think I am talking myself into it....

Regarding the official store in the US ... I ordered from the UK on the 3rd all 7 dolls, plus the special edition Junior High. Independence day probably delayed shipping but on the 7th they shipped, and on the 10th they arrived at my house in the UK. Excellent! Beats my usual gig of waiting for Amazon US to get them and then ordering from them.

If they really wanted to be show accurate then they would have included glitter in Sunnys hair, they would have included chains in jades hair and they would have given original Luna her hair style instead of the hair they gave her so they do change things

And Luna hair is the other way around the shoe cheaped out and just reused sunny hair instead of giving her her own . Theses are the some of the only dolls they’ve ever made based of the show ( instead of the show being based of the dolls )
