My guess is that though she was _Terrified_ of the situation, and didnt want to see someone get essentially no-dif killed right in front of her, she probably also didn't wanna stick her neck out for the guy that kidnaped her. The way Haruto was during their whole interaction probably screamed to her "This dude means business I should stay out of it he might _actually_ kill me otherwise even though he came to save me." That isn't a risk I am personally willing to take even if His Holiness the Pope himself was a childhood friend of mine and decided to revenge kill someone in front of me _just stay outta others revenge._ *_Good for you Flora for minding your own _**_-damn-_**_ business_*

Fun fact: Rio could have just ended it here, but chose to make his uncle suffer more. I'm just glad he's return to being badass again since S1. 🔥🔥🔥

Making him suffer is one thing but at the same time, after a few minutes even wolves get tired of playing with their food, and finish it. He should never have even had the chance to get away via someone coming in and saving him as *soon* as Rio had shown him how out matched he was he shoulda gone for the neck, and been done with it. None of that avengers type BS that let him get the chance to attack Flora with the knife. As SOON as Lucius was on his back there, just a simple stout swipe or stab in the heart/neck/head, and that's all she wrote, or even sooner than that Rio if he wanted too could have given that man an prostate exam with those spiky-rocks.

I think my favorite part of this episode was when Lucius was trying to run away, and our boi Haruto just tapped his foot to do the rock spike attack. Such a simple animation but I am a sucker for low effort attacks that are still actually effective I dont like the windup type stuff too much (Spirit Bombs from DBZ specifically were vibe-killers for me).

Aisha do be up to stuff shh The flashback stuff is sorta relevant but did kinda feel like wasted time. Christina is under house arrest in a kingdom that we aren't going to tbf. We've barely seen her any less than Sayo realistically xd. She is lategame carry though, trust. Lucius is a demon, but also keep in mind that he always does this children. Outside of a case like Rio, what child is going to gain enough power to actually challenge him in any reasonable time? He never actually expected a challenge, just more fun. It basically is photon bullet, Rio models a lot of his spirit arts after sorcery spells for several reasons. Though his are usually several times more powerful Jokes on you, WE are waiting 10 years kek

Here's one thing I wonder if they will address in the next episode or wait till next season. Princess Flora heard Lucius talk about Rio's parents and being royalty. Will she ask him about it? Will he be willing to talk about it? Will she just look into it on her own? I feel it would be funny if he does admit to it to her. Only time will tell what happens next.

Or the books, Spoiler for later seasons, Lucius will later kidnap Flora and Christina again to use them as hostages in a confrontation with Rio, there he talked about Rio’s lineage more and says to Christina that he could have grown up as a royal, but do to circumstances he grew up in the slums and was later harassed by their nobles and blamed by them. Christina later asks about this in front of Celia and he reveals it and she is shocked as their actions are a big international incidence. This also saves her view on thinks, because now she thinks that Rio was so good at the academy, because of his royal lineage. Big spoiler: Rio isn’t just of royal descendent but a royal himself as he is the heir/reincarnation of Karasukis founding king and all the positions he hold except the one of karasukis king, as he gave this to Rio’s ancestors, belong to Rio. Because of this he is technical a king and one of the 15 highest ranking people in the world. The only one who realises who Rio really is and doesn’t belong to one of the other 14 is reis, but he does this by realising who or what sora, one of Rio’s later companions, is and knowing that she would only follow one master.

Isn't it funny that the summoned hero went to sleep twice? While Rio has been fighting for a whole day now! And the villains left the hero alive, how kind these villains are. Imagine being on the battlefield all day while the hero starts puffing up with pride after the battle. I hope Rio also puts a shoe on his head and shows him that he needs to do something for his status! What if at the end of the season the Dragons attack Latifa's village and Rio and Aishi have to teleport without Celia.
