The perentie is equipped with full roll-over pertection as standard, as well as frame covering the whole rear section which is used, partly, as the skeleton upon which the canvas is secured. Over the canvas covering is the Army's version of a roof. The rack is secured to the vehicle's roll-over pertection bars through weather resistance sally-points custom designed and manufactured for purpose.

I think the firewalls were galvanised aswell

Unfortunately they were not. They are a known rust point, and I know that because I'm up for some cutting and welding in my firewall!!
