Just to put it in perspective, here in Australia you can get a 1/24 Welly Corvette Z06 in that same orange for $19. It has opening doors and I'm pretty sure it has an opening boot lid and turning wheels as well as a detailed interior. The 1/43 Hot Wheels version is $37..... nearly double the price. These are so overpriced it's crazy. Edit, they're actually $34, still absolutely insane and I would argue price gouging. Although my love for Hot Wheels runs deep, this "line" feels like a spit in the face to their fanbase. There are so many better and more affordable cars at this size and bigger for cheaper with more attention to detail.

The F1 GTR you have has the gold foil on that opening hatch to mimic what the real model would’ve had, and was designed by the same guy who did the F1 RLC. That said, I’ll be passing on the 1/43’s because if I start collecting a new style/brand I’ll have to remortgage my house

Ram 4x4??? I don’t understand why Hotwheels isn’t able to use the TRX name or logo. Both the 1/64 and 1/18 are clearly the TRX. It’s not like Hotwheels isn’t able to get other Chrysler sports car names they have, SRT, Hellcat, Demon, and Trackhawk

I only got the '69 Modified Mustang, the AMG GT3 and the 2021 Mustang Mach 1 so far. The extra details afforded by the 1/43 scale are really nice , but you have to pay for them. I'll keep an eye for the upcoming Custom Chevy Nova as well. Thanks for showing these Phil.
