The island is st Pierre and Micquelon which is French territory. So technically, it is off the French coast.

Did not like how they made Tommy sympathetic at the end. I'd prefer an ambiguous ending like the sopranos rather than the ambivalent one they gave Tommy. Guy was a murderous crime lord, needed to at least have some kind of indication that he could never have a happy ending after a life of violence, death, and destruction.

Mosley was a real life person, who sadly died of old age in france. The fucker never quit politics either, even after the nazis losing the war. He just wasn't that successful, but was a fascist fuck till the end. Anyway, the show doesn't even reach the second war so mosley not only should survive, he'll have been successful for a while. Basically, they meant well by portraying him but the audience can never get a satisfying ending bc of it
