Yo the story about the dead sleeping with the living a true story it happened to a aunt of my stepdad. Her husband died and every night him ride her till she turned skin and bone it was too late to save her and she died the following week. If one of her daughter didn't caught them in action we wouldn't hear what was taken place with her. Also the story about the baby born looking like animal old folks use to say when a woman pregnant and see a animal die and feel sorry for it, the baby will come looking like it. I know this lady living next door to one of my aunt who'd 5 children the two oldest ones born looking like goat ppl called them goatee because of how them faver goat. I believe this cause when i was pregnant and hear my godfather kill a pig and about to run to see it, me godmother saw me and tell me not to go and look and not to feel sorry for the pig, cause me baby will look like it and i remember the two brothers name goatee lol

I remember when I was pregnant with my first child, I was working with old people and a old Jamaican lady I worked with told me not to feel sorry for them and not to look at certain ones....I always listened to her even though it seemed funny to me. Because my mum had me late in life I was raised hearing a lot of things like this so I believed it more time

That is sad to me because people have enough hardships as it is with added burdens of judgement for conditions they cannot help having. As it says in scripturein 1 John 3:17 :"But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? " I think pity is a good quality to have, persoanlly, because it brings about compassion for others. I do love hearing the stories though, only hope that in these days, those that are afflicted are not persecuted for them.
