​​@@n1ddddd but it still isn't that far off since it's an au, rose's ambition could be easily changed. like, she could've been unaware she'd have to give up her physical to have a baby and for a moment revert back to her younger childish self, desperate and in a panic because she didn't think it throughout properly, and then pearl would sacrifice herself because she'd rather do it than to live without rose. OR rose was aware of it but pearl still choose to sacrifice herself for the same reason. that would also make a lot more sense than pearl falling in love with greg anyway

This au is adorable and gorgeous, beautifully well done even. But… one thing people who keep making aus like this seem to forget, is that gems dont have genes, human genes. The baby that is made between the gem and greg in every au would always look like they only have Greg’s DNA, they might have the personality or abilities as their gem mother, but besides the gem on their bodies they would basically always look identical to canon steven. Unless it was a different human that had fallen in love with a gem. In the end its just a fun fictional au, so i shouldnt care so much, it doesnt matter.

I don’t really know how the dawn universe works but in my opinion, I feel like it would go like this So basically, there are no more diamonds and it’s pearls instead of pearls aiding diamonds, it’s every pearl gets a quartz so now it’s same old story except for pearl, and she runs fall in love with earth, away yada yada and meet Greg I don’t know if it would still be Greg, but I don’t think Greg would fall in love with pearl. I think that he would fall in love with rose quartz, and Since pearl loves, rose quartz so much she would sacrifice herself for rose quartz to have a child. I also got the idea above from @mymelo1 so Pearl has a child and that is dawn so Don goes on missions with the same crystal gems, amethyst garnet, but instead of pearl it’s rose quartz so they all go missions and I think rose quartz would act like pearl so now the entire entire normal story plays out except rose, quartz, replacing, pearl and yeah
