A long time already requested, now finally recorded! Great composition from top film composer Hans Zimmer.
In my opinion the piano solo version can't come up to the original orchestral score for sure, but I hope you like it anyway. Played from the original sheet music book.

I had a crush on my French Teacher once when I was about 14. I think she thought I was a good looking kid too because she was always super nice to me and liked talking to me. One day I was sitting in the piano room at lunchtime learning to play piano, and she walked in out of nowhere and sat down on the seat, and she played this. She played it so softly and gently. Not a deep memory but a nice little thing I won’t forget.

hmm, I think the reason could be that a used a piano setting with too less dynamic for this recording. The effect is then exactly what you wrote. It's not ever easy to adjust a sample piano in the right way. So in the meantime I used another piano with hopefully higher dynamic range. If you listen to my other Pearl Habor recording (Anf Then I Kissed Him) you will see the difference. There I had another keyboard and another setting.
