I visited Pearl Harbor a few times when I was a kid in the 1960’s. My dad was stationed at Scofield Barracks, and we lived in Wahiawa. I remember taking the boat over to the Memorial and the beautiful white marble with the names on it. It was eerily quiet there. I remember looking down through the water at the remains of the USS Arizona. There’s still occasional bubbles of oil coming up from it. It’s a place all Americans should visit.

Wonderful video and thank you for the way you film Arizona Memorial. Yah I'm kinda glad you didn't take the bus it gets crowed because people going home or going north shore on 52 bus route I don't think you have fun and 20$ for both of you not bad. My dad work at fort island and we use to ride the white ferry across miss that ferry.. because my dad knew everyone on base as a kid he took me to bridge of the ferry because he loved the ocean and wanted me experience that moment on the boat. He was in navy that work with civil defense..

Nice informative video. Do you happen to know if there are any special tours just for military members or veterans. I was stationed at the sub base in 1978 to 79. My big regret is not visiting the memorial. Hopefully I will visit there in the future and see it. Would be pretty awesome to see what the inside of a BB looks like during that time period. Would love to see the Supply and S-1 Div offices, as well as the storerooms.

This is where the film Pearl harbour was filmed here and I remember that film and this is scene where they shot the scene where the Japanese tried to get USA to surrender but unfortunately like Germany they failed so USA showed the Japanese the hard way in 1945 in August and Japan loses the war against America compared to Germany they lost the battle against Britain
