I love your review of Pearl Island. We were there earlier this year and it is definitely one of the highlights in Nassau. I have to say the lifeguards are so attentive there. They thought I was drowning when I reached for a rock and jumped into save me.

Pearl Island looks like a wonderful place. The beaches are beautiful. You had amazing views everywhere you went. I know how you feel about animals in captivity for profit. I do love seeing animals up close... but I feel a lot better about it if the place is doing animal rescue and rehabilitation or is involved in species conservation efforts. And I am glad they toned down the high pressure sales at the port. That is definitely an improvement. Thanks for sharing your review of this excursion!
