Every single bit is awesome, I couldn't agree more with @chrismorrison in the comment section, it's very hard to cover a god like Eddie, but you definitely reached it in your own way. Great to know that you also love Chris, if you ever want to go forward on the ideia of covering him, there is an amazing acoustic show he performed in Sweden, with a bunch of references and great songs to play on the acoustic. It's on youtube: [Chris Cornell - Unplugged In Sweden (Full Album)]. I totally believe that with the strenght of ur vocie you'll do justice to him. Also, since I'm already here I'd like you to know that I've listened to your song "After You". It's not the type of music that I listen daily, but still surprised me with the talent. It's a pretty emotive song, and thats the reason I believe it's so good, emotions bring our best when it comes to art. I'm also 21y, I wonder if you ever took singing lessons in ur life, or it just came naturaly? I really wanna improve my singing skills to sing along. I don't know if ur objective is to live life in music, we all know it is a tough path to follow. If it is, keep on going, cause you are great. Sorry for the big text, I got excited by your fast answers, it's not that common in YT, especialy with people around the globe, hahaha! Huge thanks for listening my original music despite if it was your cup of tea or not I still appreciate whenever someone listens to it. :) And I appreciate you acknowledging the emotions in the song, means a lot since the song comes out of personal experience and I was not originally wanting to share it with the world because of it but thanks to this song I have gained some courage to not be afraid to be honest in my future music 'cause that is what I'm looking for in songwriting in general. Recording this one with my brother was just incredible. So thank you! And no I have never taken any singing lesson and I think it shows that I have not seek some professional advice 😁 but my mum is a great singer also a self-taught so she would give me some constructive critic but ultimately I just listened to things I liked and analysing what I liked in other singers. The more you practise some bits the more you will get comfortable in singing them. Looking up some breathing techniques is a good idea and taking care of your vocals and some easy warm up. I believe you will find your own way in singing and there is nothing wrong in seeking some professional vocal couch I'd say on the contrary you just have to find someone who will be a good match for you. :) Just remember be yourself, I believe everyone has something to offer as long as they are not ,,faking it" well if that makes sense. 😁😁 And yes I'd love to have making music as my main thing but we will see I'm at the very begging of even introducing myself on the internet. 😁 Thanks for the comments and support. Just stopped by because of a "like alert. "Question from an old original grunge guy that spent the early nineties watching bands like STP, Primus, tool and the violent femmes preform live in Oahu. At the beginning of your song, even though you are a pretty young female, I catch a glimpse of Eddie Vedder's expression. If you didn't do this on purpose, I can only say that you have the unique talent of channeling. But, you have to believe in that sort of thing. But to me you did it. Wow. That was really honestly something special. I usually cringe at PJ covers because they are almost always pale imitations of the real thing - especially this song, which I've always felt only EV can sing properly, but this one really brought something new and special to a song that usually goes off the rails when people try to play with the arrangement. You managed to stay true to the original, while peppering in a hundred little choices that made it totally your own and made it fresh and original. Bravo!
