Omg Sara!!! This one is so beautiful. I’m having a very emotional reaction. It reminds me of the essence of Spring. Of being deep in the forest. Of the way the light streams through the tree tops and makes moss and ferns and tiny flowers on the ground glow. It’s magical how it actually looks lit from above. And then you zoomed out and that center vein of vibrant green was what really got me. It feels like an opening into another dimension or something. A view into something so pure and sacred. Like nature itself. Okay I sound like a lunatic now. But this one just really speaks to me!! 💚

Hi Sara, Nice work on the spring colors. I’ve been using your technique especially the 7300 SE transparent base over prepped dried designs, including abstract landscapes, volcanoes, super novas, and organic acrylics designs. I use Golden High Flow at very weak (low amount used) added to clear glue, 800, and Liquitex to create floating cells over original work. It’s been my goal not to completely cover the first design. I can edit and get multiple levels. One of my paintings has five levels. Days……. Lots of fails a few keepers. Learning. Your videos have kept me inspired. You Rock. Thank you

Happy Friday Sara. Really love this painting. The colors work so well together. They emphasized the foreground and background in such an organic way that the painting feels like it is breathing in and out, forwards and backwards. The swath of verticle rich green created such a strong focal point in the best way. It blended right in and really stood out proudly in the best way. Very restful for the eyes. Very soothing. Really liked how the cells formed in their unique ways. Especially the ones that formed an extra layer of paint on them. The light green shapes with the darker slightly thicker mossy green on top. Really like that composition and pooling of colors & shapes. Have a great weekend and as always love ya and thank you for your beautiful paintings that you graciously share with us.❤

Beautiful, but I kept tipping my head to the right, which put the canvas in a landscape orientation! Love the color palette!

Sara, this piece brings to mind the beautiful violet wildflowers that grow in the woods. They somehow brake through all the moss, dead leaves, and branches to reach for the sun. Just like your painting (and your color theory😊), these pops of color are a feast for the eyes when looking at a sea of earthy colors and shadows. It's a beautiful contrast and makes for an exciting painting! 😊🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞p.s. I hope all of you can take your work to sell because I know people attending FAE would love to have some of your art!

I love this! Very earthy, organic and centered. I appreciate your explanation of color theory! Sometimes I get frustrated with myself that I can't think of colors like you do. However, it seems you just don't over think it! I wish I could have gone to FAE this year 😭. I just finished moving and I couldn't get more time off to do anything else this month. I will definitely look for the videos you post from them! Can't wait to see what you and your students come up with! ❤

Wow Sara, this painting is so organic! I love the new colours. I loved watching all the different chemical reactions you got from the different paints too, so many different types of pearls and webbing. I find your usual colour choices very ‘Fauna’ whereas these colours today were very ‘Flora’. I just loved the dark green and the purple together, it put me in mind of lavender fields. Just beautiful, so peaceful. 🙏🏻💜

Sara, I heard that Bär is changing their 8300 formula and adding a primer to it soon. I’m torn between trying to just find another brand of deep base or buying the 4 gallons they have on the shelf! 😬😜🥰
