Pearl makes good products...i especially like their fit and finish...its flawless. no spot is overlooked...i have a yamaha maple custom kit which i adore...and a second snare is a pearl 5x14 free floating...im not crazy about its sound compared to my yamaha...but the plating on the pearl is fine and flawless...even though the maple customs were yamahas flagship when i bought em in late 90s...and they look and sound everybit of the $$$$ i paid for em new! im thinking of getting an aluminum ludwig lm 400 or 402...acrolite even...but i love the sound of the pearl in this demo...good job...i might consider it over the $750+ for the ludwig supra or acros... thanks for the video!! The new sensitone aluminums such as this one will become available for me in september 2021 and for 1/2 the price of ludwigs so i will strongly consider it for sure!!!

Nice demo, Isaac! What batter head are you using...the standard Ambassador coated? The only other thing that I always like to hear in a demo is the cross-stick/side-stick sound, but i realize it adds a lot more time to each demo. I picked one of these up a few years ago brand new for a steal and love it as well. Swapped out the mediocre throw-off/strainer for a better Pearl SR-150 and couldn't be happier. That '76 Ludwig floor tom and kick drum sound beefy as well. Nice work.
