They are not real pearls. A real clam does not make many perfect round pearls with such color. They are color dyed beads. They make fake clams looking so real such as gold, purple, blue, or green shell clams.

I believe that they real made by scientists "cultured pearls" and grow them all over their ponds and streams unlike the ones harvested in sea. They are tied to another and hang in the ocean checked on a routine like in a nursery. Their value is close to the ocean bred clama.
