Thank you sheik for posting this series, however I have a question about this aspect of the seerah. I believe in it 100% more than I believe in my own name. But my question is more historical, when Umar ra conquered al aqsa, he realized the Christian’s have turned it into a dump, was this a entire Alaqsa compound or just the mosque, because if so how did the prophet pray near it. Or did the Christian’s ruin it afterwards. Jazakallah. I know the prophet had made this journey as he proved it himself by describing it perfectly and predicting the merchants coming, as well as just the thousands of proofs that the prophet saw spoke the truth on his message. The people of the book dream of having the same assurance as us. I’m just curious on this aspect of history may Allah reward you.
