I tried ordering Studio Series Bumblebee Movie Blitzwing from them back in September, and they never sent it to me. Then, they changed their policy so that you CAN cancel in stock orders, but when I did they never refunded me. To this date, I have seen neither the figure nor the refund.

I just canceled an order from them that I placed on July 14th. I bought 3 "In Stock" items from their Summer Sale that never budged from processing. 3 weeks was a long enough wait for the shipping I was going to pay. I did luck out however because since mine never left the "Processing" stage I didn't have to pay a Restocking Fee. Been telling a lot of folks to avoid them. Snapdragon is a great figure, found mine at my local Walmart.

With Siege Apeface was revealed and released, it was just a matter of time till his Horrorcon partner, Snapdragon, was announced to join the new Transformers toyline, WFC trilogy. And now into Earthrise, Snapdragon is now out and he's awesome. His inclusion to this new Transformers toyline is even more special, because this is his second offical figure since G1.

I got this guy on Sunday, it was either this or the seeker 2 pack and I’m glad I went with this cause I keep finding myself messing with it, Also if you want the dragon mode jaw to line up try pushing the headmaster back just enough to see his face but not enough to pop it off and the face place should fit into the neck and that’s when you bend the jaw at the hips and it’ll look right

With all that effort to return it you might as well just sell it yourself. People really want these right now, I'm sure you wouldn't have problems. I've ordered from them before and had no issues, but then again, I also only live about 10 miles from their store. That changed when I put in a preorder for the Soundwave Spy Patrol with Wingthing, etc. Finally showed as in stock.... at $3 less than the price I preordered it at. That's the last time I order from them unless it's cheap and I don't care when I get it.

Awesome review Ben, totally agree about what you said, how Megalopolis handle that stuff is not okay. I love these Headmasters, finally the team is complete. Now all Takara needs to do is fix the mold issue on Weirdwolf and re-issue him. The hinge on my cockpit has started cracking. At the time of me writing this, 6 employees from Megalopolis put a thumbs down on your video =)

I've only known Snapdragon since this review went up, but I'd do anything to protect him. A lot of the Earthrise and Siege stuff so far has been leaning heavily into the wilder side of G1 and beyond, and as someone who wasn't around back during the G1 days I truly appreciate seeing these wackier ideas and characters more fully realised and being far easier to get a hold of then their 80s counterparts. Seriously though, I have no nostalgic connection to SnapDragon, but he is just so cool I can't help but love him like I've always known the character.

I ordered a Godzilla figure from Megalopolis that they said was in stock. I waited a couple weeks before I called and was told they would have it out by the end of the week for sure. That didn't happen. Called a week later and they told me it just came in stock and was getting ready to ship, then when I asked to cancel they gave me the same crap about the restocking fee or I could pay shipping to return it. Said there was no possible way to do a full refund. So I figured I'd just wait it out, it's in stock now and I'll get it. Yet another week later I called again and they said it still wasn't in yet but would be soon. I told the person on the phone that I'd been directly lied to and strung along and it finally took that to get a full refund, shipping included. So apparently they lied about being able to do that too. I refuse to ever shop at that store again. It was really vindicating to hear that I wasn't the only one with such a crappy experience, thank you for that and for the great review.I also found my Godzilla at a local toy shop about a week before I finally got my Megalopolis order cancelled

I got both of those guys as well, vastly prefer Snapdragon over Ape Face. His transformation is much cleaner, and his jet mode and robot mode are way more sleek. But still, I'm glad I bought them both (Ape Face I got from TFSource and Snapdragon I got from my local Wally World). I used a pair of toenail clippers to clip off the tabs on the bottom of his dragon feet, just because they do nothing for the figure at all. Sure, if you have his legs straight and his feet flat, they help him stand (otherwise the wings would get in the way), but that's only if you absolutely must have his feet flat. All you need to do is angle his feet a bit and he stands perfectly fine. With the added bonus that the 'soles' of his feet lay flat on the surface of whatever you're standing him on. Plus he looks better to me with his feet angled anyway.

If only Apeface wasn't covered in pin joints. i'd happily break him down and paint those white bits, but those oversized pins make it a tricky proposition and I'm not skilled enough to just tape the other parts up and spray around them. Also, the weathering is absolutely jarring between the two. Snapdragon has none, and Apeface is covered in it. Thankfully though at least that's easy to remove.

Serendipideously, found this at Target when picking up medicine and supplies. I did apply Reprolabels Decepticon sigils to his wings (and one over Apeface's tampographed nosecone symbol), and am seriously enjoying the figure. (Still no other new figures in store; did see Earthrise Rung but that's abut it. Hopefully I don't get Megopolis'd by Hasbro Pulse when Greasepit is supposed to ship next week)

They are selling preorders as in stock orders so they can use their policies to deny refunds. They allow cancellation of preorders but they’re in deep for an exclusive toy line and are shoring up their investment with our money by not labeling the orders as “preorder”

apeface's odd plastic was with good reason. they needed extra durable material so some really small tabs could slide into very tight slots, otherwise the tabs would snap off the first time you transformed it. they went with nylon, which has that odd off-white color.

Man I wish I saw this video like a week ago as I did actually place an order for Snapdragon, Sky Lynx, and 3 other toys to hit free shipping from Megaopolis. To be fair I dont care when it shows up - but it's a shame I have been charged for a product prior to any shipping as is typical with most online retailers. I get Covid sucks and cash flow is king for any business right now but at least be up front with your customers.

I'm having a similar issue that you had with an order for the VictoryStriker from LupinRanger VS PatRanger. The package shipped back in April and was backlogged due to COVID-19. Once things "settled down" in June I contacted the seller regarding any updates, just to get a message that stated that the package was shipped to Japan Post within 24 hours of the order (If I recall correctly JP postponed shipments in May, I could be mistaken) but its delayed due to COVID. I was asked to wait 1-3 weeks to receive it. I contacted them last week regarding an update (five weeks after the last contact) and got the same exact message. I do understand the COVID-19 delays, but I'm cautious about packages when no tracking number is provided.

I lucked out and randomly stumbled upon this guy at my local Walmart, and I'm glad a grabbed him. This might sound weird (to non-collectors, anyway, because I'm guessing we've all gone through this to a degree) but he's so good that he's kind of revitalized my feelings about the hobby and pulled me at least partway out of the bit of burnout I was experiencing. Sorry about your experience with Megalopolis. If it makes anybody feel any better, I'd never even heard of them till now.

I had the same problem with megalopolis. I ordered a tmnt they said was in stock, waited 2 weeks and called and they said oh we sold too many of it. How the hell there gonna charge me and say it was in stock to end up like this. Terrible inventory management and charging the customer before guaranteeing a purchased product.

my Snapdragon has a slight design flaw, i have to rotate Krunks head fully around just to get Snap's jaw correctly aligned, it hurts my fingers but as long as snap transforms i'm pretty ok with it, if it's bad to rotate his head like that plz tell me or if anyone else has that problem plz tell me so that i don't feel like the unluckiest transformers collector ever
