Plug into the saturated channel, now, plug a footswitch 1/2 into the clean channel( switch needs to be mono, no TRS) You have channel switching

These old Peavey amps are so much better than a lot of guitarists realize. I love the clean tones with reverb. And the drive goes from vintage to modern if you set it right.

I had a brand new decade in the day and learned to pit in front of my big Peavy as a pre amp and then it really shinned. Maybe this is why the decade pedal it is really a pre amp pedal possibly ?

The guitarist from queens of the Stone Age said he used the decade to record…that’s why it’s popular right now…but really all of the older peavey stuff has gone up in value…due to the fact that a lot of people like to play them on full gain and high volume for that fuzzy sound it can get….a cheaper alternative to the sunn beta lead amp for the stone/doom/sludge players. The supreme is also great for thrash and metal…I think these are really a gem and the head is usually cheaper than a bandit

The solid state peavey heads from the late 70s/early 80s are dynamite stoner/doom amps, and can still be had for less than a sunn

i have a peaey express 112 teal stripe and is the best amp i ever owned. i have also a little peavey rage 158 teal stripe that is not bad

The Decade has a 8 an the audition 10 its not gonna sound anyway the same of course the audition will sound better for clean1¹❤
