PEB with Analytical Modeler: Part 2.7 -Load Case for Analysis & Design || Gravity,Lateral,Crane load

Pre-engineered buildings are the most common type of steel building and widely used for commercial structures like large warehouse, factory shed or office buildings. Due to it's extra advantages and cost effectiveness, PEB structures are now more popular in the construction industry.
In this new series on modelling, analysis and design of PEB structure, I will cover various modelling techniques, using STAAD analytical as well as the physical modeler, discuss how to generate the 3d model correctly and reuse the geometry information to assign specification, property and design parameters. Also I will introduce several custom templates which can help us in modelling.
In this video, I will discuss about different types of load required for analysis and design, how to create these loads manually with proper load type and using a seed file. I will cover all the design guides as per Indian and American standard for each load type and generation of seed file.

Thanks for your interest, Shubham. Actually that was my initial plan, to cover everything related to this topic including connection and foundation design. But due to low viewership, I postponed this series and moved to other topics. I will definitely revisit this series once again and if there is enough interest, then I will post rest of the videos.

Hello sir, what should be the load combination for non orthogonal steel structure? Kindly elaborate or provide IS code reference.

There are some additional combinations we need to consider for non-orthogonal frames, like combinations mentioned in IS1893(part 1):2016 under cl.6.3.2.2 and cl.6.3.4.1 for seismic analysis, this I will cover in my on-going series on static seismic analysis (kzbin.info/aero/PLxLi_mmlPeioCvBiFgvejNGzC14ocb87i). You can check IS875 code for other such combinations.
