Love your videos mate and the Father Son thing is priceless, puts a big smile on my face. Great camera work, editing and music. Always a pleasure to watch Your son will remember this for ever, you have set him off on his journey in life. To think, he can look this up on YT in 30 years and there he will be, with his Father doing cool shit, maybe even with his own kids that age watching too.

Thank you! Glad you enjoy the video's :). It will be pretty cool for him to watch the video's back one day, he's not interested in watching them at the moment haha

Next time you're up that way it would be worth asking the Ranger whether there is still access to Jones Bay. Jones Bay is the small beach on the south side of the Wooli river mouth. There's three ways in from memory. 1st. Is from Station Creek, past freshwater beach through the swamp then over the dunes onto Jones Bay. 2nd Is from within the National Park, you deviate left somewhere (Can't remember the rd) as you come through the pine forrest and drop down into the swamp, then over dunes onto beach. 3rd Is corduroy crossing, similar entrance to 2 but keep going nth, you end up following power lines and going over a submerged log road, thus the name, then you pop out on a track above the Wooli river and head south back into swamp and dunes to beach. I haven't been in there for over 20yrs though.

Great videos!!! I'm planning to do this next week, wheeling from pebbly beach campground to wooli. I got a little confused because you seen to have taken a detour in the state forest which was quite hairy. I'm wondering if this is a family friendly track for a 4wd with no lift . I think you went via the Coast Range Road.... Any advice is appreciated. Cheers Guil

Even when you are "Crook as Rookwood", you give great insights to the awesome places we can explore by 4wd. Because I own a Bt50, (rivalry content to follow) was the bang we heard an advertisement for Nissan Navara? I have previously owned a Nissan.
@TylerThompson90

Thanks mate! Haha sounds like I might have some competition, the bang wasn't anything too serious, just an intercooler hose blown off, just put that episode up :)

How was the sand on the beach entry up at north wooli. I have a constant 4wd Toyota hiace with a 2 inch lift and all terrain tyres. Wondering if I’d get on and off the beach no dramas?

I'm heading that way tomorrow (wooli)..are they hema maps your using to navigate mate? i'd like to do that drive you did Also do you need permits for those beaches ?i can never seem to find the info i need on these beaches and where to get the permits. Great vid BTW..i have subd
@TylerThompson90
@TylerThompson90 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! So pebbly beach the permit just comes under your camp fee from memory that you pay to the ranger on site. But then I think the beaches around Wooli you did need a permit. I use the VMS in the car for navigation and then the paper maps are HEMA maps, the one for this area was North-East NSW.

Mate would this be ok for a novice four-wheel driver? Heading up to Coffs Harbour next week I'm just looking for a eztrak I probably wouldn't do the Creek Crossing though. Just looking for a day trip from Coffs.
@TylerThompson90

Hey mate, a lot of the tracks through there are pretty easy but a few side tracks can very muddy and rutted out. Stick to the more main fire trails and it won't be an issue

I had the same problem on a D40 Navara with a chip, rough up the surfaces on the hoses, clean and spray with hair spray before re-assembling; you'll probably never have the problem again. Great videos Tyler!@@TylerThompson90
