We pour the footings for the new Peck Brothers Headquarters. Foundation walls will be poured shortly... Also Cayleb and Alex bend some tube for Alex's new shock hoops on the Super Duty JK.

If you take out one spring in the coil pack on all 4 corners and lock them out with the slider rings you can get a good ballpark on your spring rates. So if you have a single 200lb (example) spring that’s is locked out and you have 8” of shock shaft showing. Once you lower the weight of the jeep down you only have 4” remaining. You loose 4” on a 200lb spring. Poly with be able to figure out your sprung weight of the vehicle and get you the proper spring rates for the amount of shock you want showing at ride height.

You should’ve welded a plate to the frame and then welded your pipe to the plate. Nice welding though. I hope you covered up the chrome on the shocks before welding

Looking good. But if you don’t mind a suggestion, you might wanna rotate the rear upper shock mounts 90 degrees. This will let the reservoir hose come off the front or back and won’t be sticking into the rear seat area. Would be a quick and easy fix. Also make it easy to mount the reservoir to the shock hoop.
@PeckBrothers2 жыл бұрын
We were planning on that! Just didn't have time yet. We still need to add bump stops to the shock shaft and then fill them all with oil. Good catch!

Hey guys I'm going to DM on IG My Nephew's page who's also a owner of fabrication shop in AZ. Pro Drifter building race cars top to bottom. Maybe he can hook you up with some of his sponsors! Definitely would be able to help out with small ideas for small issues. Not going to put up another creators channel on your channel. 😊 Even watching commercials for you! Stay blessed! First time I've ever seen a concrete mixer that mixed on the spot as needed. We just use the rotary tumbler style in Tn. That was pretty 😎. I bet I logged on KZbin 5 or 6 times since Sunday looking for the next video. Glad to see it made it on here. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my crawler jeep Yj, and have a lot less knowledge on the matter than y'all, but use yalls stuff as an inspiration to trying new stuff.

Set them hard. And drive it and tune the softer till your happy with how it handles in the corners. Thats high speed tuning. And low speed ya wanna some resistance. So ya not topping rhe shock out and with put smashing the bumps to hell.

@@PeckBrothers what rates you running? I'd guess for that rig a good starting point with 5" shaft showing youd want 200/225-250 fronts and 175/225 or so rear. Hard to say what all will be added still but that would prolly put you in the ballpark
