Each episode is like a chapter from a English novel. Superb content.

A beautifully filmed and edited representation of a highly credible operating railway. Thank you - what a delight!

Thanks Tom. Really glad you enjoyed it. I'm really pleased you feel it's credible - that's what I've been aiming for.

I always watch your videos, such a brilliant railway many thanks for posting and look forward to the next video.

Many thanks. I'm so glad you enjoy watching. Although each session follows the same timetable, my computer based freight manager creates interesting shunting problems for me to solve and I sometimes include special trains for some variety.

Excellent narration well done, I didn’t want the story to end. Your line is a thing of beauty you should be very proud.

Thanks Stan. Encouraging to get positive feedback. I, of course, only see the flaws in the videography and script.

Nothing we create seems to come out perfect in our own eyes, I know this from being a woodworker. I see what I perceive as the flaws and the mistakes. I had to learn to put away the magnifying lens of perfection and learn to see my creations as others do. Only then did the slight run in the varnish or the slightly mis matched grain disappear and I began to enjoy what I created. A fellow who has the site called u b railroad is a indoor G-scale modeler he taught me what others call mistakes he refers to as adding character to the project. Your.production is very well done, your Tonal qualities are spot on you could do professional narration as your voice has that quality that is enjoyable to listen too. I could see you doing your own version of Thomas the train. I hope you will consider other garden rail themed stories. Best of luck to you. Stan.

You are a brilliant storyteller, I really enjoy your videos
@rikbennett93 жыл бұрын
Thanks Roy. That means a lot. I've avoided too much narration up to now but a few people said they preferred it to captions so I thought I'd give it a try

Thanks for that. A true compliment indeed. Maybe someone doesn't think model steam locos should be powered by batteries?

Thanks Dan. I imagine railways/railroads must operate more or less in the same way everywhere. I've certainly picked up quite a few ideas from all sorts of places. I really love Bob Treat's Snow Creek Railroad for example.... ;-) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXm8dY2bnpp5r9k

Thanks Fabrizio. The ore tippers are LGB, the sand hoppers are scratchbuilt bodies on HLW chassis

@@rikbennett9 Hi, I now know, you repainted in maroon the LGB ore tippers that originally was painted in red; your modification about coulor made cars more realistic! With my compliments! All the best, Fabrizio

Fantastic!,, at all levels,,, but.....no steam?.....
@rikbennett93 жыл бұрын
I have one live steam loco, but only use it occasionally. I prefer battery locos. They run all day on a single charge, they are easy to control, especially at low speed and cost a fraction of a live steamer. Battery locos suit the way I like to run my railway.

I've not changed the soundcard, but I might have tweaked the sound the last time I reprogrammed it. Full marks for your attention to detail, though.
