It's such a mystery how this channel doesn't have nearly as many views as storm chasing videos and channels that are an anorexic shadow of what this one is. My best guess is I think it might be because Pecos Hank takes the time to put together properly edited and well put together videos which causes him to miss out on that initial wave of people who google the tornadoes right after they see them on the nightly news etc. Once a video catches that first wave of views it becomes a self reinforcing cycle where traffic keeps getting routed to them first despite the fact that their video may not be anywhere near as good as one Pecos Hank does on the same twister.

I've watched this one a bunch of times, a personal favorite of mine. All the elements of a well produced, entertaining video: Witty alliteration, incredibly placed chasing positions, inciteful and educational narration, culinary creativity (canned fruity balls in tuna), local wildlife consideration, local inhabitant comiseration, civic interaction and donation, helpful lodging incites, classic cartoon snippet, and all the anxious fearful storm chasing action one could expect. Thanks again PH channel, making an interminably (sad pun) painful disability stint as enjoyable as desperate searches for distraction could possibly be. No sarcasm, this shit is worth watching over and over again. I'd say I have all the time in the world to do so, but well, that's just not altogether true. Or, at all really. I concur with comments that Pecos Hank would be incredible on television! His approach is so unique & different than other chasers (some who have TV shows). He's an excellent teacher who incorporates humor, along with great music that he creates! Hank's interaction with nature is extremely entertaining, his photography skills are bar none. I've watched millions of tornado videos on You Tube, and no one can compare to Pecos Hank! I would guess that it's only a matter of time that some channel makes a request to Hank for a show. He's just too good. With his personality, however, I wouldn't be surprised if he turned down an offer. Commercialism can breed neutering of what makes someone special.

Wow another amazing video! Would you mind telling me what camera lens or lenses you use? I am an aspiring storm chaser with two Iowa seasons behind me now. Just upgraded to a D610. Thanks again Hank for all your hard work, truly inspirational!

@@nikolvitanza4746 Tornado Intercepting Vehicle. It is a heavily armed car. You can deploy spikes into the ground and make the car go into the ground so wind doesn't get in.

Your footage is absolutely amazing. 2:54 gave me the chills just seeing that monster through the tree line. He was near Lake City, IA. That is the school that lost its roof.
