So, are you able to ride him? My quarter horse was recently diagnosed with the same thing. He was just put into therapeutic shoes. I’m wondering if we can get back to some light riding soon.

So yes, but his initial diagnosis was pretty grim and the vet and our hoof care practitioner didn’t want to get our hopes up. Buuuut, 6 months after his diagnosis we were cleared for light riding (walking and a bit of trot once more fit). We started out with 10 minute walks.
