I love the use of safety squints while grinding. Exactly how I practice safety. The truck is coming along nicely Sir.

Thank you, I am happy with the progress. Safety squints are my go to as long as I can avoid grinding directly at my face. 🤣

Same here I wear proper gear and end up visiting the optometrist . Getting stuff ground out of my eye.

Master fabricator at work! That's awesome work.. I even understood some of what you were talking about!

Thank you. I don't know about master fabricator but I just do research and try to do my best then hopefully someone gets some value.

@@PerpetualProjects isn’t that exactly how one becomes a master? Learning, practicing and eventually mastering their craft? Awesome work, doing it right.

😅 yeah a lot of times it isn’t thought about and people just deal with the extra effort it takes after switching to manual brakes
@SquarebodyStuff2 жыл бұрын
Going manual brakes is on my to do list also.
@PerpetualProjects2 жыл бұрын
Yeah those to do lists seem never ending sometimes. But the extra space in the engine bay is definitely worth it.

Good video, but would've been more beneficial to have close ups when measuring pedal. Appeared you measured at an angle from pivot to pad which is not accurate. Should be measured at right angles I believe.

Did the factory have it set up differently for manual and power brakes?
@PerpetualProjects2 жыл бұрын
The pedal is stamped with p/brk, so I image they had a different pedal for manual brakes but I don't know that for sure.

@@PerpetualProjects I did a manual to power swap and didn't change the pedal
@PerpetualProjects2 жыл бұрын
Going to power from manual, the pedal ratio change may not be as critical. Changing the ratio would add a little more effort but reduce the pedal travel.
