There's all kinds of fun stuff out there near Gnargasm. Some milder stuff and some unmentionable. There may be another 2-3 miles of stuff that doesn't disappoint that starts around the same trailhead.

Go to Champion Park and to the BCRT behind it. Go left. Pretty quickly turn right onto the bridge. Directly at the end of the bridge are a couple of paths headed off the pavement. One heads straight into the woods(Snow White) and another goes right through a swampy area. Go swampy and ride through the mud, don't go around it widening the trail. Go right at the next opportunity. If you don't go right and go straight you will hit Snow White at a slightly different point. You know you are headed the right way when you hit a one foot stepdown pretty quickly. If you can't take that stepdown, you should not be on that trail as it only gets harder. It's sketchy as shit with a lot of exposure. The trail surface is like marbles on a pool table.

I've been totally doing the same thing about the foot down and knee out. I watched some video where a pro was talking about that at a dh park. He was showing how many people were riding through the berms with their feet parallel. I think right now it's making me slower to think about what I'm doing, and I don't have the natural flow of setting my pedals right. However in the long run I'm sure it will work out.
@nofrontbrakes6 жыл бұрын
B1KER I figured that out by someone calling me out on my wreck video. I was leaning and pushing my bike into the corner instead of pointing my inside knee where I wanted my bike to go, which forces my body to be over my bike instead of to the side. I can’t take credit for that tip.
@TwitchyNick6 жыл бұрын
No Front Brakes I really need to practice my cornering and need to be more mindful of it. I think I’ve heard it said as leaning your bike not your body (center your body).

Jessica T I’m down. There’s an epic looking roller coaster at Cameron that I’m itching to ride
@jsterrycomics6 жыл бұрын
No Front Brakes that is probably the Vortex trail or Colorado. Those are both roller coaster style and fun. The loop I do hits both of those the fun way it’s about an 8 mile loop. It can be more if you want to explore some other spots
