Agree 100%. You may be able to squeeze a few more goals out of him by playing him high, with his back to goal. But that's not his game and it shouldn't be an objective. Like Xavi himself, he has a MUCH bigger impact controlling the tempo in midfield, bringing the ball out of the back, and making killer, line-splitting passes. Nobody ever said to Xavi "You need to score more"

@@gregorygonzalez1055 you can't be a world class midfielder with just pressing and tackling. Non of xavi, iniesta, Zidane,.pirlo and modric were pressers or tacklers. But they're the greatest midfielders of all time. Gavi is like Edgar Davids and Vidal.. you can't mention Edgar or aturo among those legendary midfielders.

Poor way of looking at one of the if not the best technical young players in the world . Dude literally is press resistant , great dribbler and extremely composed , a rareity for the age. He also scored many match winning goals and I don't know how you reached the conclusion that he is a poor finisher lol. He makes good runs and have scored many bangers. @@zabdi5710 If you are referring to the first leg against Bayern Munich. Pedri was on top of his game , Lewandoswki was the one who uncharacterestically squanderd easy chances which Pedri set him up. The first half way dominated by Barca and the away crowd was largely silent. But Lewandoswki even missed sitters. If that game was won , Barça could have been on a different momentum psychologically. The senior player should have delivered, Pedri after all was very young . Also the number of chances other players missed even in this vedio baffles me. It's not encouraging for a midfielder when the team don't rise up to the level . The youngsters in Bayern Munich and Madrid had senior players doing their job. In Barça a teeneager shows up in the bad times. A 16 yr old Lamal being Barça's best performer is a disgrace.
