Pedro Pascal on Equalizer 2, Wonder Woman 1984, and Fighting the Mountain on Game of Thrones

Pedro Pascal talks to us about ‘The Equalizer 2', ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, and Fighting the Mountain on ‘Game of Thrones’
Fresh off his recent notable and memorable turns in Game of Thrones, Narcos, and Kingsmen: The Golden Circle, Pedro Pascal is taking on another powerful role in The Equalizer 2. The sequel to 2014's The Equalizer features the return of Antoine Fuqua in the director's chair and Denzel Washington reprising the role of Robert McCall. Pascal plays Dave York, an old government buddy of McCall's who is surprised to find his old friend alive and well after his reported death. Pascal's York is aided by McCall as they investigate the murder of a close friend.
The film includes some violent hand to hand fight scenes, great action sequences, and explores the themes of redemption and coming home. Also, no Antoine Fuqua action movie would be complete without some overarching philosophical concept driving the main character's story and this film is no different.
At the press day for the movie, I got to sit down with Pedro Pascal to ask him about working with Washington and Fuqua, snuck in a couple Wonder Woman 1984 questions, and what franchise sequel he'd like to tackle next.

I'm ashamed to say, I hadn't heard of Pedro before seeing him in The Equalizer 2. I remember when he and Denzel did the scene where they met and sat on the park bench and I thought, oh, so they used to work together back in the day, Pedro's character must be a good guy, so I was a tad shocked watching to see what happened a bit further on in to the movie ! Great actor and person and love him in The Last Of Us. Awesome.

Please don't hate on me I'm trying to be objective. Answer: because a lot of times the argentinians (not all of them but a majority) have this vibe of entitlement. They act conceited, as if the other countries are trash, maybe they do it on purpose, maybe they don't realize they are doing it (but it may still be offensive) and that bothers a lot latinoamericans. But I always root for them, first because I love Messi and he's Argentinian, second because the Argentinian passion for football is to be admired and third because it cannot be denied that they are great at football, maybe right now not as much, but they are.
