@@Anasnowlifealso gender is fluid, it’s a social construct that humans created because our brains have a need to put things in boxes and organise what we experience. man and woman are terms we created and tbf it’s both old fashioned and flawed! not even sex is as simple as we make it to be, a lot of people are intersex and never find out because doctors determine if they’re “man” or “woman” purely based on assumption. we live in a world where animals can be (in our terms) non-binary, homosexual, trans, etc. the concept of pronouns, sexuality, and gender doesn’t exist to them they just exist :)

Btw, I just binge watched TWD recently and I cannot believe the Emmys never nominated the overall show or any of the actors all those years- it was an excellent drama series that included zombies. Even better is that Steven was a true gamer playing TLOU for 12 hours straight the year it came out! I wish it was longer though, since Pedro wanted to discuss Steven's other work like Minari, and as an Asian American, I'm glad that Pedro mentioned their similar bilingual, immigrant experience as well. 9:06 This scene from Beef had me truly stunned. We are seeing the character open up and become so emotionally vulnerable, all the while we really have no idea what's going on inside. He's being torn apart from so many angles. Is he actually having a religious experience? Is he truly being moved? Does he simply see the atmosphere of the worship at the church as a warm and open setting/excuse to let out his emotions? Just absolutely brilliant.

What a fantastic interview. To hear them using Bella’s pronoun correctly is also like hearing your favourite song for the first time. Had a great experience with Steven once at a convention. All the convention staff in the line were like, get your photo and move on there’s a big line don’t waste time with him. When it came to my photo with him as well as what I could see of others, he took the time to pause with us, grounding ourselves in the moment. Shook my hand and said how much he appreciated our/my attendance with him. Just a real wholesome experience.
