"Solar" Live at The Mitchell

peteweise.com “Solar”, made famous by Miles Davis, was originally written by jazz guitarist Chuck Wayne. This video is from my trio gig at The Mitchell in Dallas, TX on Dec. 7th 2024. Adrian Laird on bass, Amari Alexander on drums, recorded by Estelle Weise who used a Sennheiser e609 on the guitar amp, bass recorded direct, and a pair of Line Audio CM4s for kick drum and a single overhead. Mixed and edited by me in Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro.
