Great tutorial. I hadn’t realized that I needed a button like this (with this specific functionality) until I watched your video. Thank you for it along with the supporting blogpost.

Hi Nelson, Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Tested, everything works perfectly. In many modern e-Commerce stores I have seen a slightly improved version of the Back Button idea, the button isn't visible when visitors come directly from search engines, different websites, social networks, etc. Now if you click on the button you'll go away from a store if you come from outside. It's very important not to loose clients, especially after they click on your ad. So, the Back button remains visible only when clients browse inside a website. Is it possible to integrate this important function in your script? If needed I will try to find some working demos & send a link. Regards. Igor

I know this video is a bit older now, but I've just used this process to create a back button for my divi site. Unfortunately, the button has no response on mobile devices. Does anyone have any ideas about fixing that?

Hi , I was super excited to find this as my website is a web app and I find it annoying that there is no 'Back' option, you have to use the menu all the time. However, I don't have Theme Options in my menu - I use Divi Builder but not The Divi Theme which may be the issue (I use Buddyboss so I have to use their theme). Please can you help, is there another way to get a back button?. My menu under DIVI only has Plugin options, Theme builder, Divi Library, Divi role editor and support center.

I guess maybe you are asking about where to add code? You may need to ask your theme for their best recommendation.

Hey man can you make a video about inputting and stylizing "table of content" on the sidebar or on the blog post using Divi. I have tried so many table of content plug ins but whenever I put them into widget the divi theme builder isn't loading.
@PeeAyeCreative3 жыл бұрын
I guess I could, but to me that sounds more like a standard text module with links.
@shubotube3 жыл бұрын
@@PeeAyeCreative Yes you can make it with a text module but is it possible to automatically take the table of contents from the blog posts. and whenever we click on any of the links it will redirect to that heading. check this blog post so you will have an idea of what I am talking about www.adamenfroy.com/how-to-start-a-blog

Okay so I think you mean each heading automatically is added in a table of contents. Interesting, not sure how to do it but could research it.

@@PeeAyeCreative yes cool I used "table of content" plug ins they work fine if I put them in blog posts. but I can't edit them from divi theme builder if I put them into widget. the divi theme builder won't load if you put them into widget. I talked to divi customer support, they are experiencing the same issues. even though divi have a video about making table of content. This doesn't look good and even unprofessional.

Hi @@shubotube, This table of content can only be made using the Custom Codes as we can't achieve these results using Divi only. If you want to use Divi out of the box then you have to manually do it by placing all the headings and the links for every blog post as you have seen in their guide as well. Since we will custom code this table of content so we will have to style it using the Custom CSS as we can't style it using the Builder. The example URL you have given above is also using a plugin called "Easy Table of Content" wordpress.org/plugins/easy-table-of-contents/ so the best way to achieve this is by using a plugin and then styling it using Custom CSS.

How does this back button behave when, for example, a user finds a product page in Google Shopping. Does it take the user back to the Google Shopping search results page.
@PeeAyeCreative3 жыл бұрын
Just like your browser would do. So whatever you can do with the back arrow in Chrome for example, that's what will happen.

I'm glad you like the content and plugin! 😊 I'm not sure about the other plugin you mentioned, you should ask the developer for help with it.

I was just looking for a way to do this with a Divi button. I am linking from a page where the user fills out a form, consents to a policy and might click to read the policy. the back button allows users to go to the page no losing all the data they already filled out. Thanks a million
