It's about the complexity I was expecting by the look of the box. It seems pretty standard as complexity goes for a board game. There's way more complex board game than this one, like Vindication, Netrunner: Android, The Haunted House at the Top of the Hill, Dungeon & Dragon: Castle Ravenloft, Eldritch Horror, Talisman (especially with the expansions)...

11:52 This is actually one of the simpler board games based on a video game that I've played... it's pretty simple to "get" into it once you start playing, the gameplay loop is not all that complicated. Season card, planning time, then action-move-action or take 2 actions in one spot. Try to complete Grandpa's goals and community center bundles before end of year. The only complicated part is just the sheer number of tiles and cards in the game lol

I only found out about this a week ago, they apparently sold out completely, but are looking into a second printing run (Their first print run was 20,000 units). It's only available in the US, though the creator and Concerned Ape are looking into ways to do so outside the US as well.

I absolutely adore the video game, and unsurprisingly the board game is equally as amazing. It’s one of the only strategy board games that my 58-year-old mom was willing and wanting to play with my husband, sister, and I (to the point where she now asks to play every weekend). Its so rare to play/find collaborative board games today, so it’s a great change. It’s so cute, and although there are billions of pieces, once you play it once, it’s honestly so much simpler than it seems! There’s a few tweaks I would suggest, but we love it nonetheless!

The board game is hard to get they sold 20,000 copy’s and sold out like the next morning. I’m glad I got a copy. I think the components are very nice (apart from the player pawns) but game play seems decent. If your looking for a different farm board game check out agricola
