Idly Rava is used in the place of rice to make idlis, when you ferment urad dal batter over night, you can soak this idli rava in the water for few mins and add to the urad dal batter to have a tasty idly batter!!

Pooja you should have invested in food processor, it hs attachment for kneading dough, chopping, grating like carrot for gajjar halwa. Grinding mixer and juicer. Anyway it is also handy. And for grocery if you are shopping monthly, take small packets of lentils, rajma etc. Rice can be stored for long, just put some cloves in it. Veggies need care for keeping fresh, as cut the stem of green chili and store in tissue paper container, or make paste by adding some oil and salt. Pluck dhania and store. Etc

@@navneetkaur1343 If its mentioned as only wheat flour then its definitely maida as its ntg but refined wheat flour .. if its whole wheat or 100% wheat flour the brand will go above n beyond to market tht .. yes some type of flour in sher has maida but they have 100% whole wheat too which is grainy compared to the other type

Pooja, its a personal recommendation- rather than buying kitchen aid, u should have bought rotimatic. Its been 1 yr and we love it. It needs, and gives us out prepared roti. Also, in cold countries, pulses kabhi kharaab nahi hote.. so u can buy big pack of rajma🙈 When u r looking for rice, look of 1121 extra long grain basmati in any brand. Its the best grade of rice. Hope dat helps. Love from UK
