Peeling Feelings: Bibliotherapy Divorce Intervention

Here is an intervention from my new bibliotherapy book that @pesipublishing will be releasing hopefully within the next year. The kids love this activity and being the sensory-seeker I am , I love it too. Make sure you use a non-toxic safe glue. I use Elmer’s but there are recipes for you to make your own child friendly glue online. This activity can be tweaked to meet the needs of your clients. This Peeling Feelings activity is sooo satisfying! The parent or caregiver can put glue on the child’s hand if child chooses, increasing attachment and safe nurturing touch. The parent and therapist can be the shield to not make the hurts feel so hard and permanent .
