My feet peel every six months, my dad and my kids have it too. But it’s not a infection or fungus. My dad and I just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia this year so I can see it being a immune system issue. My eczema is super bad right now and it does effect my hands. Honestly I don’t mind it at all.

Dr. J! The patient's feet looks like he may sweat alot. I had a roommate whose feet looked like that and were smelly. The podiatrist gave her cream and powder, told her to throw away all of her socks and spray her combat boots with Lysol until she was issued two new pairs and trash the old ones...🤣🤣

Hi Dr J I had a similar problem myself but I went to see my doctor and gave me a foot cream that I was to apply twice a day and within a few months has disappeared. I have an autoimmune disease so that must be the reason. Thanks for this video as it will help many out there Much love and respect from across the pond in Uk x

I use a vinegar, lemon, salt, warm water foot soak that helps. Great channel, excellent info. Blessings

TIL. When you take a shower in a tub, close the drain and throw a handful of baking soda in and let your feet soak during the shower. Helps save time and ensures your feet can get the simple remedy done as frequently as needed. It's done wonders for my feet. That and keeping the wet nails closely as needed .

I had painful, deep skin peeling on my feet caused by a bad reaction to the medication Valproic Acid, AKA Depakote and Sodium Valproate. It also damaged my liver, but luckily, my liver values went back to normal once I was off that med. The skin peeled from the edge of my foot inwards, and the peeling bits began as very thin but quickly became very thick skin, and the peeling of such thick swaths of skin turned out to be quite painful. Once I went off it, the soles of my feet improved quickly. I’d love to know why that happened!

I wish I lived closer to you!! I have been dealing with Very painful (growths)on the bottom of my feet for 25 years and I’m now 48 and very limited in my daily activities because of these things. The last Doctor I seen could not even scrape my foot because he was shaking so bad but he was also 90 years old.BUT he wanted to do surgery! He said I had such trauma to my toes that they fused together and pinched a tendon and it was protruding through the bottom of my foot.I seriously thought that I was going to be diagnosed with some bunions or some corns and he was going to do a procedure and I was gonna be great but that is not what happened. Needless to say I did not have the surgery. I’m still dealing with three of these on the bottom of 1 foot and four on the bottom of the other foot. When they get so painful that I cannot stand to put my feet on the floor. I take my foot tools and I cut them out but they always come back. The largest one I have is right on the pad of my foot it started out 25 years ago the size of a match head. It is now the size of a quarter, I have one a little smaller than that about the size of a nickel and the others are still small but getting larger every time I cut them. I have called every podiatrist within the state of Mississippi, and none of them will except my health insurance so I could use some advice if you’re willing to give it or if anyone else is willing to tell me something to try..

My brothers feet used to peel ALL the time back when he was in hs back in the 80’s but they don’t peel anymore. They haven’t peeled in years.

I think he's worried about marriage because his culture looks down on disability. Is this contagious? Could he pass this to his future children? If the answer either of the last two questions is "yes" it might disqualify him for marriage.

Doctor Jefferson, I have a condition called CRPS, complex regional pain syndrome, since 1995 due to a car wreck and dashboard injury both sides. I am going to be 52 this year. All of a sudden, since about November/December last year, I noticed the outer part of the big right toe is numb to the touch and numb when walking. Walking is severely impaired because the CRPS gave me a permanent disability. I have very limited function of my legs (toes to hips). At my doctor's home visit, I talked about this with him, extensively. At the time of my accident I also could not extend my right lower leg from a seated position, this was documented in my records. I asked if it was the same nerve. Apparently I have a different issue right now. I suddenly developed flat feet. I did not have those as a child, nor as a young adult, nor for a couple decades into my disability. I just now, just now, noticed that something was off. He is sending me on to see a podiatrist, and she will do a biometric assessment. If at all still possible because I do "walk funny". With aids. Anyway, long story short. I was wondering if you could address the issue of flat feet occurring after injury, or disease process. This might make for some interesting information to be put out there. I for sure can not be the only one this ever happened to.

I have a family member with ezcema who experiences this. Its usually the soles of the feet and palms of the hands at the same time.
