when I was around 8, someone broke in and stole my Christmas present, out of my other 2 brothers and mom, just my stuff got robbed, I never had much to start with but that left me without any music, and we too found out who robbed us or me, my moms best friends son, to this day I've never forgotten him

I love the set up of "is she sexy?" followed by "she's not too sexy is she?" a few sentences later from Mark. It fits his carachter so well. His first thought is that he doesn't want someone out of his league.

We were burgled when I was about 3 or 4 years old, they stole everything of course, the place was a mess, except they didn't touch my 'child area', all my toys were untouched. Sorry you lost yours. Also had a 'friend' bring his friend over and stole my PSP without me realising, never saw either of them again

Had a Friend I started visiting his house a few times, they had a piggy bank collection stolen, he said his dad accused me, wasn’t exactly feeling welcome after that, cause theirs no way to disprove stuff if it’s just gone. Kinda killed the friendship then.

I got robbed years ago..house was wrecked they took everything the next day when I went into work I was like the last 5 years in this shitty retail job was for nothing ....totally sucked

I got burgled by the git two doors away while I was visiting parents at Christmas ... same git then tried to sell me MY OWN ANSWERPHONE until he realised the reason I was so keen to actually buy it was because not only would I recognise it it would still have my outgoing message on it - took lots of sentimental stuff

I think this is the last great season of Peep Show. S6-S9 are still GOOD, but don't climb the heights of greatness IMO.

I never thought an American would find this comedy funny, nothing against Americans your 'lovely people' as Al Murray would say, but for some reason I think of this as a certain type of comedy that only us mental Brits find hilarious, not trying to put you down or anything, it's just completely different to the US comedy that was put out at that time.

What are projects? We have council estates in the UK, but they aren't full of poor people. Most council houses have Beamers parked out front. Is a Project like a refuge? I pray my home is never burgled; it sounds horrifying. Great reaction as usual 👍

Most are of below average income. A minority are well off, including some who own their houses/flats.

The poorer you are, the more likely you'll be burgled. Most burglars are looking for easy pickings, not rich pickings. Most burglars have never tried to become rich. The average burglary lasts 3 minutes.

Peep Show is the last great British sitcom imo. It first aired almost 20 years ago and finished 7 years ago. Says a lot about the current state of British comedy 👎

Not really, great shows have never come around every year. As far comedy, Would I Lie To You and Taskmaster are bigger than ever.
