My wife visited Mega Plaza, the largest Toy Mall in Thailand! This mall has 6 floors with over 600 stores spread throughout! You can practically find anything you are looking for here from Hot Wheels, action figures ranging from Star Wars, Transformers, Godzilla, Gundam, Ultraman, Marvel, DC, Disney, and much much more!

They were all for sale. But in Thailand, they cost 3x more than in the US so it makes collecting very slow.

2:15 are some cars for the B-case and the case has great castings. 11:27 I see lot of wheelie chairs. Did your wife get the ford gt-40? if not I don’t mind shipping one over because I got two. And I have a feeling you did this on iMovie because I recognise the sone towards the end and I use iMovie for all my videos and works good. Thanks for the video, some amazing cars I saw in there.

We have the GT-40, it was our reigning champion in our Duel series until the Jaguar just knocked it off ;) I use Davinci Resolve 15, but Skorpio had this song on his video and my wife really liked it and we plan on using it for our vlog channel which is coming up in the near future. For the more expensive pieces of collecting for other hobbies, they are locked up. But for Hot Wheels, they are usually on pegs in regular stores except in giant specialty malls in which they keep behind glass since theft is high here.

Cheers, wow! Though I would find it frustrating if peg hunting. It all seems behind glass, so you would have to find a salesperson, then are they going to want to hang around while you go through them all... Or I guess they are priced accordingly?

Usually in Thailand, most diecasts are on pegs for you to go through like in my past peg hunting videos. But in specialty places like this, most are behind glass because of the high theft rate. They did have some on pegs in here but my wife filmed them very briefly so I didn't insert it in the video. Some of the prices are ok for Thailand, but most are so overpriced because of the import taxes here. Mainlines are usually 3x more than the US and Thais have their faves for certain cars like Skylines and such and those are marked even higher at times. Once in a while you will find a shop that keeps the prices relatively low and those are the ones I usually get my hauls from. In fact I have a new haul video coming in a few days ;)

Thank you! I saw that GT and I had a guilty smile and knew I had to pay homage to it in the video lol. They have so much more too there but I will have to try and film that another time. Soon as Jacen is cleared to be in crowds next year, we will be doing a ton of videos like this to go along with our racing.

Agreed 100%. Next time we go, I will try to film more of the legos. We had quite a bit filmed but for some reason, they had naked anime figures mixed in with them that made no sense at all. So I had to keep that footage out.

They did have some shops with the Hot Wheels on pegs, but they mostly keep them behind glass since theft rate is high here since it is so crowded. Keep in mind those prices are in Baht (30 baht = 1 USD) so it looks even more expensive ;) But they are pricey, you are not wrong there lol. I loved that Rat Fink too, would be awesome for our track in the future.
