Toys R Us always had several unique cars, and it is sad they stores aren't open anymore. I got a 20 pack last night that a few of the same cars in there. I am still trying to find those Corvettes and the green Camaro ZL1.

He is outside the u.s., there are 2 ways I can tell. For one, there are no 50th logos on the cards. 2, he says "Zed" instead of "Zee" when pronouncing the letter Z. He is most likely in Canada.

Still pretty angry that they shut down toys r us....the only place you could get every hot wheels at the time. Now it’s like Walmart, target, meijer or Kroger could care less about restocking. Toys r us had the latest and greatest and these places wait till the middle of the year to do so😒

I go to three Toys R Us stores, various Walmarts, Targets, K-Mart and I'm not joking, they all look like a Ghost Towns. I sometime frequent the Mattel Store in El Segundo. I usually end up getting most cars from eBay. It's fustrating and rediculas. I'm in the West LA area and I'm extremely lucky if I find cars I'm hunting for.

Not much better in Taiwan. Here the basic car is sold at almost USD$3. Even though I can find them in many places, it's impossible to find good ones, as if there are always people around to snatch them as soon as they hit the shelves and sell them online for a much higher price. What I love about hotwheels is the peg hunting experience, so I don't consider buying them online. Tomica is everywhere here, much more popular than Hotwheels. I just don't like their cars, looks like they are crafted by boring engineers who are more concerned about manufacturing than making a toy look fun. Complete lack of passion. I can only place my hope on Hotwheels when I travel overseas.

The fifth car you found in that dump bin was a treasure hunt it was the blue el viento with yellow wheels number one out of ten in the x raycers series just if you didnt know. Id consider that interesting but whatever floats your boat at first i wasnt sure if that was it because you picked it up so fast flipped it and chucked it but i paused it and sure enough its blue with yellow wheels and when you flip it over it plainly says el viento thats "the wind" in spanish but yeah the 2018 blue el viento with yellow wheels is a treasure hunt i happen to have that one and of course like all newer treasure hunts and supers it has no number at the top right of the card and has has the circle flame logo behind the car but the ultimate super treasure hunt for 2018 thats the bone shaker and its blue with an orange underside that particular one i just got and for some reason it has no flame logo behind it it also doesnt have the usual TH logo as most supers do but the car does have the sectraflame paint and rubber tires and no number at the top right of the card. Seems to me like your only going for real cars and thats cool but if im gonna be out hunting its mainly for supers and treasure hunts for me regardless whether the car exists or is a fantasy car doesnt matter to me if its a pretty super TH after all if you dont like it you can buy it for one dollar and sell it for 40-65 dollars tomorrow on ebay if its a new super treasure hunt. This year ive found three supers at the local walmart here the camouflage datsun 620 super from a case the 68 mustang copper super from g case and the green camaro Zl1 2017 super from h case. Gotta be frequent in the store your hunting and sometimes have to be a bit cunning to find supers. Alot of times im just looking at pallets set aside near the toy section if theres an unopened hot wheels box there then i open it after all its out there to be sold and no ones said anything to me yet so... i just started collecting hotwheels a few months ago since ive been up here in the mountains of middle Tennessee but im going back home soon to see how the hotwheels stocks are down in florida. Sorry to write a book but just thought id throw some tips out there. Great video though cheers.

I have a hard time buying the track sets. They feel a bit over priced. If they were more like $10 to $15 I would buy more. $25 or so for a set that is kinda small is hard for me to sink my money into. $50 just for two kinda small set pieces is harsh
