if the validate rule is defined at advanced tab then it acts as client side and if it is applied from a activity then it acts as server side validation

Hi Harsha, Student from 591 batch. please answer when you have some time.. 1. Based on the role who initiated case, when admin started the case, the person should see in stage 3 and step 3 ? I told option skip stage and route to worklist of administrator? 2. for the above scenario if the user wants to go to step 3 instead of stage4, how do we do? 3. if i have an assignment , can we dynamically route to worklist or workbasket? 4. without fork condition can a single assignment be routed to workbaseket or worklist?- i said no, but i think in screen flow we can do if i am correct? 5. how can we design a SLA configuration to be in such a way we should modify in production directly- i told unlocked and delegated to production rule set.. 6. how do you setup time in this scenario. i said the time can be set near to Goal, deadline and pass deadline. 7. how do you send data from upstream details to downstream details after agent run? what will be the steps in activity mentioned in order to send the data to downstream ? 8. Once we get results from database using obj-browse, how we are sending to downstream System? 9. how do you make standard agent executed?- i said we can add utility shape and use queue for agent activity? 10.when we know we are consumer, what are the things needed and how to start?- i told service URL, any response file for simulation etc.. 11.I implemented the Rest service in production and how do we debug in production if we get issues with rest?- i said different logs because tracing is not possible in production. also try to reproduce using prod ticket and reproduce in qa or dev? 12.Take generic case type and we want to use this generic case type to another application, what are the options we have or how we can reuse this?- i believe its relevant records but i said didnt come across must be something basic? 13.If we are non prod environment, if we have complicated activity, what are different ways you debug the issue? 14.did you work on any third party tools we use to check the UI or use for navigating between screen to screen?

I have created a vehicle data class and created properties and section in it. I have embedded this section in Work class using clipboard page as Source. ( the data class doesn't have any dpage in it). Now, I am not getting this Section displayed in UI. What could be the reason? How can we embed a section from data class to work class if we do not have dpage? Please explain.

Solution: First you need to create a work class property that property must be in page(page Definition :call your vehicle data class). after you can create 1 DT(Data transform) and using set method :Target:.Pageproprty {workclass_Property} =" ". This DT you can call your connector - like u have work class assignment right that Assignment before connect right just double click on the connect and set your DT. Note : Work class page property and the name of the clipboard page name must match. Problem: Actually in clipboard there is no page without creating a page so that's why that data class Sec_ not shown in work class Sec_ Please subscribe to harsha Trainings and hit the "like" button if you understand my solution. Here's a detailed guide on how to set up data propagation between a parent case and its child cases (A and B): ### Setting Up Data Propagation in Pega 1. **Define Properties in Parent Case:** - Ensure that the properties you want to propagate are defined in the parent case type's data model. 2. **Configure Data Propagation in Child Case Types:** - Open the child case type (A or B) in the Case Designer. - Go to the **Data Propagation** tab in the case type rule form. 3. **Map Properties for Propagation:** - In the Data Propagation tab, add the properties from the parent case that you want to propagate to the child case. - You can use the **Add Item** button to map parent case properties to the corresponding properties in the child case. 4. **Automatic Data Propagation Setup:** - Pega allows automatic data propagation when a child case is created. there are 2 requirements 1.Need to assign cases to the operators based on operator location is nearest to the work object location. how can we achieve this using map in pega 2. Need to produce an interactive map of all assigned workobjects assigned to that operator how to calculate shortest route for all destinations of the workobjects locations, based on user start and end locations what are the different ways we can display map on pega UI.

It's not possible in pega... Because clipboard can hold max 10000 pages I'm a page list...

How we can use Obj-validate as client side validation? Ans:Yes, we can use this one as client side validation, we can write activity with Obj-validate methods with obj validate rules which might multiple property rules validation on screen and this activity can be use in pre flow action. On load of a screen will get validation message.

Hi parallel processing means two concurrent threads run at a time without any lock dependency…. Asynchronous means two concurrent threads runs at a time but lock dependency will be there at some point…

Hi Harsha, I have few interview questions,where i couldn't not find the answers anywhere, can you please help me on that. 1.Difference between 7.x and 8.x version ? 2.Can we have more connectors to the assignment?If yes have to configure that? 3.Scenerio:We have 100million records, we need to separate past 2 years records in one table and 3 to 7 years in another table and rest to delete .How to implement that? 4.What is the use of skill in Operator id? 5.How to access the data from 4 nodes at one run? 1. We have it documented cant share full answer here 2. Yes, we need to use likelyhood concept, please watch video in our channel 3. Write an agent and actvity , browse based on pxcreatedatetime and store them into another tables. Use obj delete to delete the rest of records. 4. We can use skill to perform skill based routing 4. use standard agent to do this.
