I think Peggy sang this song for Dave Barbour - although they divorced I read they had hoped to re-marry when he died - probably a heart attack because he wasn't that old. He was the love of her life and the father of her daughter Nicky.

such a pity she resorted to so much plastic surgery.

She developed Bells Palsy (facial muscles) on one side of her face. The surgery was able to balance out her face. Must have been awful for her. A couple of artists also had a similar problem. Can't remember who they are now.

@@susannahleigh26 ...and if she didn't have surgery , some would say how old she looked, can't win with some. Glad she did the right thing !
