Have had a dobro for a month and at age 80 figured it's never too late to learn. Learned a lot watching your video. Good work

Bought a dobro a few months ago wanting to learn but never took the time. Now I'm laid up due to a knee injury so now it's the perfect time. Thank you for such a great lesson.

Very nice What makes Dobro special/different from guitar? Nice that many have you join in their bands Way To Go

This sounds absolute beautiful and I love that it’s mostly on 1 string. The problem is I can’t follow you after about 10 seconds I am lost. I went to the website and that didn’t help much either. If the course is taught the same as this sample it would not do me any good. I know it’s in bad taste to name another instructor but right under your post on Utube there is one by Shane Akers with Wildwood Flower on the first string and it goes slow and explains so its quite easy to understand. On your website I looked at your song list and they are songs I would like to be able to play I guess what I’m trying to say is please give us a better sample.

I wish these guys would put what card or what keys are turned in what their guitar tuning is makes a lot of difference when you’re learning they just play a song you don’t know what their tune Dan I just wish they could read one of these and change their tactics at least but what tune

Clinton Gallagher indeed. Not to be confused with a key of dope which often includes bars

I’ve had a dobro for a couple of years now and I just need to find a way to play with my one hand.

If you lost your left hand, then maybe have a prosthetic made to hold a slide? If you're right handed, have a prosthetic made for a pick. Vice versa if you're left handed. Good luck on your journey.

What’s the dobro tuned to? Open G?

Nice lesson, but there is one thing that I would suggest. Please invest in a mic mixer and use two microphones. One for the dobro and the other for your voice. When I increase the volume so that I can understand what you are saying, the dobro comes in to loud..

Does anyone know what microphone mike is using on this video
@pegheadnation4 жыл бұрын
The two mics used in this video are Rode NT-5's.

TELL me what the frets are numerical. TELL me what string you are playing. The problem is you PEOPLE know what you are doing BUT WE PEOPLE TRYING TO LEARN DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. 🥺🥺🥺
