Our duty is to please one and only Allah. We love our Prophet Muhammad (Sm.) more than our lives but we do Ibadaat for Allah only. And for mourning, Islam has also said that we should not mourn for more than 4 days (except husband). To show respect to Hassan and Hussain, we don't need to do it in front of the world. We can also do it by praying to Allah in alone, by respecting them from bottom of our heart. No normal human being is perfect. It's okay to do mistakes but we should ask forgiveness to Allah and praise others for their goodness. By telling bad about anyone, we will gain nothing.
