I'm from Kochi, Kerala. I watched Sairat yesterday, my first Marathi film! I think Sairat is way better than this for its original picturization. The film - Dhadak looks like it lost the real flavour, intensity, which Sairat carried throughout. Bollywood is trying to convert a classic into a masala chilled with fluffs and unwanted colours. :( One more thing; those 2 characters will remain close to my hearts for years. What a flick! Sairat

There is no comparison, but we all should realize that Dhadak is the exact remake of sairat....so automatically the scenes repeat, though with different actors. Ishaan has done a great job as per the bollywood requirements. Even jhanvi for that matter has done a great job, when bollywood is considered. Please do not compare the actors yaar. Farhana Hussain I know to be honest I didn't have much expectations before watching I thought it would be a typical love story of some new star kids BUT I am so happy I watched this movie .. was such an honour kind of feeling witnessing such movie! And songs .. acting and epically the climax ... this movie is a masterpiece in all expects .. which will GUARANTEED earn a CULT status in upcoming years !

This is nothing compared to Yad Lagla. The original had the innocence n feel which this one is lacking. This is like forcibly they are giving expressions. But the original one was so natural.

Being a Bengali I didn't understand the language but loved the feeling of Sairat and could understand every bit of it. Here, being a hindi movie it's lacking in the feel.
