This era basketball was before they put magnets in the basketballs and I believe the rims are magnetized by remote control when they want your shot to leave the rim will put the opposite magnet pole energy in the rim and then the ball will fly out if they want your shots to fall they'll charge up the magnets to attract the ball. Why do I say this well because when sports becomes entertainment more than it is competition then the money is in the entertainment not in the competition entertainment is adjustable and you have to have people playing as an actor rather than playing as a player so that people can get excited and want to see more in a real game with real players you may not have as much excitement but we can control the entertainment part you can control the motions of the people paying the money for you to be in business so again entertainment that's why I think he's shady tactics are taking place
