@@liamgilloon1886 yep that's not enough. You want to build magic pen if they heavily stack magic armor. Eve w is really powerful already, so if in your team you have 3 ap and / or enemy team starts having spirit visage + wits or maw then yes for those specific champ you'll add more magic pen to your set. Let's not forget the rocket belt and t2 boots already provide flat magic pen , so eve kit is quite heavy by default. You prefer to earn way more ap with lich bane as 5th item here (but Anthony outplays his opponents so it doesn't make a diff) In 90% of your game with eve, void staff isn't needed

Magic penetration stacks multiplicatively. In addition, void staff is not flat pen it is % based. Void staff is also cheaper and you can get it earlier while providing more damage then lichbane would, the 20 ap from lich bane still would not give as much damage as the pen from void staff would. They had 4 champs building some form of MR and eves W can only shred on a single target. The pen you get from void staff would help significantly in engaging multiple targets.
